"Long time no see"

This blog has been quiet, I have some good news to tell you.

Finally we have started to make official JMIKOLA.COM website/cv. I hope we can publish the website during this 2012 spring. It will be a collection of the best photographs and whatever art-stuff I have ever done. But don't worry, there will be also a blog where I can write whatever nonsense.. For a long time I have had a feeling this blogger is not eough for me. This has been a good place to publish pictures, but this is not 100% what I want. I'll keep you in touch during this spring. It's gonna be huge!

I should update this blog a lot more often. I haven't shot any new pictures, or at least I haven't developed my films for months. But, I have quite a lot of old un-published pictures, and finally it's time to publish them.

This is fun. Mr. Timo on the top of Käylästunturi 2008. We hiked there, and this is the only time when I ever have had problems with my Mamiya. It was too cold for mamiya, but not for us. Good memories.

#500 update !

When I started this blog in 2007 I never thought I'd come this far.

Mr. photojournalist Jussi Leinonen, Highjump 2010, Rovaniemi.
Shot with Tachihara and Rodenstock Sironar 150/5.6 lens, exposure-time was maybe 1/60 and f-number 5.6, one flash was on the right side, triggered with Elinchrome slaves, film was 100asa 9x12cm fomapan and developed in D76.

It's time to post some un-published snowboarding pictures. I have shot some frames mostly during 2009 and 2010 and I think it's finally time to show them. It's fun to shoot snowboarding but usually I'm just too busy on wintertime. Snowboarding-pictures need a lot more work and planning than skateboarding-fotos.
